The History Detectives club was started in the fall of 2012 by Island Institute Fellow Kate Webber, with the goal of involving kids in Swan's Island history and the Maine Community Heritage Project. The club met after school to solve 'mysteries' with island artifacts, play games, work on exhibits, act out historical scenes, and learn from local historians.
